Description

This exquisite mid-century side table, crafted by the talented designers Rolf Rastad and Adolf Relling for Gustav Bahus in Norway during the 1960s, is a remarkable testament to Scandinavian modern design. Its unique top is elegantly shaped like a guitar pick, featuring soft curves that not only enhance its aesthetic appeal but also provide a tactile experience that invites touch. The craftsmanship is evident in the seam connection of the beautifully tapered legs to the tabletop, combining form and function with a grace that is characteristic of the era.

The careful attention to detail—ranging from the smooth finish to the precision in proportions—reflects the designers’ commitment to quality and artistry. This piece is not just a side table; it embodies a spirit of creativity and innovation, making it a standout addition to any living space. Whether used as a functional surface for drinks and books or as a decorative focal point, it effortly blends style with practicality. The time design ensures it complements both modern and vintage interiors, making it a versatile choice for discerning individuals who appreciate fine craftsmanship and iconic design.
