Description

A beautiful writing desk, handcrafted in India out of aged teak wood andresin inlay. Late 20th Century (1990-1995). Split front apron, two drawers with bronze pulls, bottom stretchers in H pattern, two vertical and one horizontal.

Inlay is an ancient decorative technique that involves embedding delicate, hand-carved pieces resin pieces into the surface of an object, generally wood. The result makes for a striking pattern, floral or geometric, of contrasting colors and materials that make these pieces truly unique.

Other than the destressing the desk inherent to hand made artisanal furniture , the table remains in very good condition.The destressing does not affect the stability or the finish. Please see pictures.
