Description

Transport yourself to a lush tropical escape with this vibrant 1975 vintage oil painting by artist B. Hurlbert. Featuring a serene house entrance nestled among abundant palms, flowering plants, and lush greenery, the scene is rich in detail and atmosphere. Painted on canvas and signed by the artist in the lower right corner, this original piece evokes the laid-back charm of a coastal hideaway—possibly inspired by Florida’s Sanibel Island, noted faintly in the foreground.

The composition is filled with warm tones, bold brushwork, and a glowing pathway that guides the viewer’s eye toward the cottage, framed by exotic florals and trailing vines. Housed in a rustic, dark wood frame with linen liner, it blends perfectly with coastal, tropical, or boho interiors.
