Baker’s Lur Floor Lamp from the iconic Laura Kirar Collection.The lamp is easily adjustable with small protruding “finger” tabs via 2 interlocking “elbows” used to achieve the desired angle and overall height of the shade at the top (the lamp as shown in the primary image with the 2 arms angled is 55″H).The 2 interlocking elbows are connected to the poles via a small decorative brass ring at both the top and bottom of each.When both arms are in a vertical position, the total height of the floor lamp is 63″H.The metal base, pole and arms are all in a brushed Brass finish.The weighted base is square (6.25″SQ x 6.5″H) and the top of the base is curved to meet the metal stationary vertical pole (which is 1″Dia).The bottom of the base is clad in felt (so as not to scratch a hardwood floor).The shade is made of striaed silk in an Ivory color with a small dark beige vertically-ribbed decorative fabric band around the perimeter of both the top and bottom of the slightly cone-shaped shade.The top and bottom of the shade are open to allow unobstructed light to emanate from the single 60W max standard light bulb.Light also comes through the sides of the silk shade.The operation (on/off) of the light is controlled via a toggle “foot” switch attached to the 8.5’L black plug-in cord.The Lur Floor Lamp is well suited for use in a formal Living Room, Family Room, Four Season Room, Den or Master Bedroom.The piece is a rare find and it is in pristine, 1st quality, showroom condition (albeit no longer made) and it has had no previous owner.See
