Description
Blackthorn Wallpaper – Meadow – William Morris
Designed in 1892, Blackthorn was originally block-printed and features white blackthorn (or sloe) blossom and violets with meadow flowers of red snakes head fritillaries and yellow daisies. The flowers bloom from a lattice of curling foliage, leaves, and stems in this iconic Morris pattern. Typical of Morris’ work, Blackthorn is a celebration of the beauty of nature. Blackthorn Meadow is a softer take on Morris’ classical design, with shades of pastel yellow, pink and mid-toned blue, accompanied by subtle white motifs throughout and laid upon a light grey background. This matt finish wallpaper would make any house feel like a home.
