Mid-Century Styled Child’s Rocking Sheep probably originally made in the 1980s or 90s.It is in wonderful condition for age and is lightweight (~5 lb.s) and sized for a small child. It has the “CE” mark meaning it was approved for sale in Europe and possibly originates from The Netherlands, Scandinavia or Germany where these rocking Sheep were very popular at the time. Made of wood covered with sheepskin and with brass ears, it makes a charming and unique whimsical item for a nursery or can complement a wide variety of decors as a unique decorative object.See
