This much-loved design from 1875 marked the beginning of a period in which Morris created large-scale designs for wallpaper. One of his most iconic patternsit was the very first wallpaper released by Morris & Co. and now produced as a fabric. With complex layering and vigorous curvesthe scrolling acanthus foliage produces a three-dimensional effect and is available in diverse colourways.
