Description

This charming floral composition blends the warmth of folk art with the subtle precision of botanical illustration, presenting a balanced and intimate design. At the heart of the piece lies a delicate stem bearing two red blossoms with muted green leaves, set against a softly textured neutral square. The central image is framed within a decorative border featuring a repeated leaf motif, which enhances the symmetry and charm of the artwork.
The earthy tones of soft terracotta, cream, and sage green create a warm, vintage ambiance, while the stylized arrangement gives the piece a contemporary rustic appeal. The artwork is a print of an original oil pencil on board, showcasing rich textures and hand-drawn quality even in reproduction. It is signed by the artist in the lower right corner of the inner square, confirming its connection to the artist’s hand.
The piece is mounted in a clean white mat and housed in a gold-colored rectangular frame with subtle ornamental detailing along the inner edge, adding elegance without distraction. There is a small section of the decorative trim missing from the bottom of the frame. This versatile artwork would complement both modern farmhouse and traditional interiors.
