Description

• The glittering finish of our Marianas statue speaks to the wondrous mythology it’s inspired by.
• According to Maori legend, the long Ikaroa fish created the Milky Way, and is known as the “Mother Goddess of the Stars.”
• In our depiction, Villa & House’s designers aimed to capture that glorious spirit.
• Rendered in iron and topped with precious gold leaf, the Marianas features lovingly cast details, from shimmering scales to textured fins.
• Its elongated silhouette shines above a black marble base, just like a sky full of stars.
• It’s a striking art piece that calls to seaside cottages and nautical themes, though its sophisticated craftsmanship and interesting backstory makes it a worthy conversation starter.
