This is a lovely Dresden horse-drawn gold carriage on a grassy, floral platform, with a coachman and a lady passenger.I discovered this at an estate sale and fell in love with it.I can imagine this mysterious elegant lady being driven to a secret rendezvous.The clothes of the driver and the lady feature delicate-appearing Dresden lace.Desden lace materialized through a process where cotton lace was dipped in porcelain paste, fired, and the fabric burned away.This left the fragile porcelain in the lace pattern.The piece measures 8 x 14 x 5, and the Dresden mark is found on the underside of the piece.See
